Laminate-it! is a specialist, on line, lamination company, set up in 2009 by Mike and Anji Patterson. Laminate-it! sells the Leitz range of ILAM hot lamination machines and pouches, together with the Xyron range of cold lamination machines and consumables. Mike has extensive experience of the range, having previously been Xyron’s European Commercial Director. After being made redundant he decided to become a distributor himself. ‘I have always believed passionately that the Xyron range of cold lamination products is one of life’s best kept secrets. I wanted to change this, and let as many people as possible know just how fantastic the range is. So, I decided to ‘put my money where my mouth is’ and set up my own company’.

Laminate-it! is a web based sales company that sells the full range of Xyron lamination machines and related cartridges and rolls. The machines available are: A6 lamination machine, A4 lamination machine, A3 lamination machine, A1 lamination machine and A0 lamination machine. This means that there is a lamination machine for every situation; at home, at school, in the work place or office, in shops, restaurants and other retail environments. It can be used outdoors, on site or even in a more hostile climate. The reason for this is due to the fact that the system operates by pressure and so does not need any heat, electricity or battery power. Just insert the document, turn the handle and trim to size.

The new, innovative Leitz range of ILAM hot lamination machines and pouches were added to the range in early 2012. There are 3 professional machines, ideal for regular or heavy office use: The ILAM touch A3 turbo machine, the ILAM touch A4 turbo machine and the ILAM touch A3 machine. In addition there are 2 models which have been developed specifically for home and office use: ILAM easy A3 and ILAM easy A4. All of these machines have been developed with the user in mind. So, for example, the correct temperature and speed settings are set automatically.

But, of course, it’s not just about products. Great customer service is just as important and Anji is responsible for customer service.

‘As a newish company we know that we have to work hard, particularly given today’s economic climate, to win and keep customers. Although I can’t guarantee that we will never make any mistakes, what I can say is that this will never be because we don’t care.
